After being knocked down again by Luffy, a furious Don Krieg gets up and reveals his secret weapon, the “Great Battle Spear,” which creates powerful explosions. Krieg attacks Luffy, who, weakened by blood loss, struggles to dodge until he is hit head-on. Krieg boasts of his superior strength, but Luffy recovers, slams his foot into the ground, and breaks the spear’s tip. Luffy then confidently states that with the wider space, he can now defeat Krieg.
After getting trapped by Miss Goldenweek’s “Color Trap” ability, Luffy appears unwilling to help his friends. Usopp frees him twice, but he is shot by Mr. 5, which enrages Luffy, who vows to defeat the Baroque Works agents.
When the Straw Hats arrive at the Baratie, Luffy accidentally damages the restaurant. He is forced to work there for a year to pay off his debt. Inside, sous chef Sanji quickly defeats a Marine named Fullbody who tries to insult him.
