After Arlong reveals he never intended to free her, a distraught Nami begins stabbing her tattooed arm. Luffy stops her, places his straw hat on her head, and, after she tearfully begs for help, loudly declares that he will. Luffy and his crew then arrive at Arlong Park to confront Arlong directly.

Wapol attacks Luffy, who is carrying an injured Nami and Sanji and cannot fight back. The Lapahns, grateful for Luffy’s help, defend him. Luffy then begins a perilous three-hour climb up a vertical mountain, reaching the top just before he collapses from exhaustion. As he’s about to fall, a mysterious figure saves him.

The Straw Hats and Heart Pirates help Vivi find a rare herb for her father. They defeat Wapol and his lackeys after Nami and Vivi free their trapped crewmates. After the fight, Law receives a rare coin from Vivi, and Nami makes Wapol create toys for her to sell.
