As Zoro distracts Arlong, Sanji and Nojiko free Luffy underwater. Zoro then reveals that Hatchan’s wounds have reopened, knocking him out again. With his feet freed, Luffy shoots out of the water, and immediately engages Arlong with a flurry of punches. He declares his initial assault was just a warm-up, setting the stage for their final battle.

Luffy and Sanji evade an attack by Lapins as they race to find a doctor. Meanwhile, a local named Dalton learns that Dr. Kureha has already left town and that the tyrannical king Wapol has returned, so he rushes back.
On Drum Island, the tyrannical king Wapol returns, vowing revenge on the Straw Hats. A local guard, Dalton, confronts him, but is injured by Wapol’s men while protecting the villagers. Meanwhile, Luffy and Sanji are in danger from an avalanche caused by Lapins.
