Luffy defends a pirate flag from Wapol, taking a cannonball hit and proclaiming the flag is a symbol of faith. He tells Chopper that they are now friends and asks him to fight Wapol’s henchmen, Chessmarimo. Chopper, enraged, pulls out a Rumble Ball to fight Chessmarimo and avenge his mentor, Dr. Hiriluk.
