After five days of sailing, the Straw Hats arrive in Arabasta, wearing a sign on their arms to counter Mr. 2’s ability. Meanwhile, in the port of Nanohana, Portgas D. Ace, a commander in the Whitebeard Pirates, has fallen asleep in a restaurant. His old enemy, Smoker, is also in town, searching for the Straw Hats and Ace, who is looking for his little brother, Luffy.
Disguised as a Marine, Usopp is taken to Marine Headquarters, where his talent for comedy impresses Sakazuki, who repeatedly promotes him. Smoker unmasks him, forcing Usopp to flee. Koby argues that a good comedian is too rare to be captured, distracting the Marines and allowing Usopp to escape back to the Thousand Sunny.
During the Groggy Ring match, Zoro and Sanji are infuriated by the blatant cheating of the Foxy Pirates. The referee ignores their use of weapons and even gives Sanji a yellow card for kicking him. Pickles and Hamburg, now with weapons, return to the game and work with Big Pan to trap Zoro and Sanji….
Luffy stops Kuro from hurting his crew, and in the forest, Usopp and Zoro save Kaya from Jango. Both Kuro and Jango are simultaneously defeated.

Usopp’s villainous alter ego, Dr. Usodaba, tries to defeat the hero Chopper Man. After his minions are easily defeated, he unleashes Giant Luffy Bomber, a giant robot. Chopper Man and his allies stop the robot, save Dr. Usodaba, and everyone ends the day with a party.
