Having disembarked at Mock Town, Luffy, Zoro, and Nami venture into the city. After a tense encounter with a man with explosive apples, they arrive at a hotel reserved for the Bellamy Pirates. Bellamy’s first mate, Sarquiss, attempts to bribe them, but Nami refuses, and they leave. At a local tavern, Luffy starts an argument with a large man over their conflicting tastes in food. Before the argument escalates, the man leaves, and Bellamy enters the tavern, where he and his crew are waiting for the Straw Hats.
