As the Straw Hats’ ship is sucked toward the center of the whirlpool, they encounter the Blackbeard Pirates and learn about Luffy’s new 100,000,000 bounty and Zoro’s new 60,000,000 bounty. The Knock Up Stream erupts, launching the Going Merry and destroying the Blackbeard Pirates’ raft. Nami, using her navigation skills, realizes they can use the updraft from the stream to fly. She directs the crew to raise the sails, and with the ship’s new wings, they fly vertically up the stream and into the clouds, heading for Sky Island.
