One Piece Manga Chapter 287
Navigating a storm on the Grand Line, Mont Blanc Noland docks his ship on Jaya, an island ravaged by a disease called “Tree Fever.” The island’s dying priest claims the gods must be appeased with a human sacrifice to lift the curse. A young woman named Mousse volunteers to save her people. As the villagers prepare to sacrifice her to the giant snake, Kashigami, Noland and his crew arrive. Noland jumps onto the altar and decapitates the snake, saving Mousse but enraging the villagers, including the warrior Kalgara, who witnesses the event.
