After Luffy wins the Davy Back Fight and retrieves his flag, the Straw Hats return to Tonjit, only for his horse to be healed by Chopper. A tall man, revealed to be Marine Admiral Aokiji, appears, and Robin collapses in terror.
After a flashback about their secret symbol, Vivi and Karoo are chased by Mr. 2 Bon Kurei. Sanji appears and confronts Mr. 2, and the two prepare to fight. Meanwhile, Usopp and Chopper are ambushed by Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas in Alubarna, who attack with an exploding baseball.

After an argument and a fight with the Gyro Pirates, Mihawk finally agrees to start his proper training, only to tell him to wax the windows.
