At the Galley-La Company, Kaku informs the Straw Hats that the Going Merry is damaged beyond repair. Luffy refuses to abandon the ship, but their discussion is interrupted by the World Government’s arrival. After they leave, Luffy and Nami discover that their money is gone and that the Franky Family has kidnapped and beaten Usopp. He tearfully apologizes to Nami for losing the money.
