Nico Robin asks to join the crew, recounting how she saved Luffy’s life after he defeated Crocodile. She explains that she lied to Crocodile about the Poneglyph’s location of the ancient weapon, Pluton, because she was only searching for the true history. After Luffy saved her life from the crumbling tomb, she feels indebted to him. Despite her dark past, Luffy agrees to let her join, much to the crew’s surprise. Later, a galleon falls from the sky, and the crew’s Log Pose points upward, leading Robin to conclude they’re on a path to a sky island.
