After McKinley helps evacuate Angel Island, Luffy confronts Enel. Luffy discovers he is immune to Enel’s lightning because of his rubber body, making him Enel’s natural enemy. Luffy then lands a punch, shocking Enel, who thought physical attacks were useless.
After Vivi’s capture, the Baroque Works agents, Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine, and their leader, Mr. 3, plan to turn their captives, Vivi and Brogy, into wax statues. Luffy, Usopp, and Karoo recover and vow to rescue their friends.
The Straw Hats enter a mascot contest. While others, including Perona and Shirahoshi, present popular mascots, the Heart Pirates’ terrifying centaur mascot, Tramon (actually Law), frightens the children and causes the host to cancel the contest.
