During the Donut Race, the Straw Hats’ boat, the Taru Tiger, falls behind as the Foxy Pirates, aboard the Cutie Wagon, enter the Long Coral Area. Nami, however, uses her navigating skills to safely guide them through the area, bypassing the intense currents and a dense smokescreen. They then use an Impact Dial to leap over a massive whirlpool and continue the race. Despite Foxy’s “Fake Sign” and “Fake Finish Line” tricks, the Straw Hats get close to the real finish line. As the Foxy Pirates catch up, Nami asks Usopp to shoot down bamboo trees to slow them down. Porche then retaliates by throwing shurikens at the Straw Hat’s boat, puncturing holes in it. As the Straw Hats race towards the finish line, Foxy reveals his Devil Fruit power, the Noro Noro Beam, which he uses to strike their boat just before it crosses the finish line.
