After Aokiji freezes Sanji, Zoro, and Luffy, Luffy challenges him to a one-on-one battle, which Aokiji accepts, warning that the fight will be to the death.

Luffy defends a pirate flag from Wapol, taking a cannonball hit and proclaiming the flag is a symbol of faith. He tells Chopper that they are now friends and asks him to fight Wapol’s henchmen, Chessmarimo. Chopper, enraged, pulls out a Rumble Ball to fight Chessmarimo and avenge his mentor, Dr. Hiriluk.
