The Krieg Pirates and Baratie chefs clash, with chefs Patty and Carne initially holding their own. However, the “Invincible” Pearl appears and defeats them in a single punch with his pearl and steel armor. Sanji then attacks Pearl but is interrupted when Don Krieg treacherously attacks Luffy. Luffy accidentally falls back onto Pearl’s head, causing him to bleed for the first time in battle.

Zoro attacks Enel for hurting Robin, but his swords are useless against Enel’s electrical body. Wyper then steps in, using a seastone weapon and his Reject Dial to strike a critical blow. Despite the powerful attack, Enel revives himself with his own electricity, stating that only a god can cause true terror.
