After Luffy wins the Davy Back Fight and retrieves his flag, the Straw Hats return to Tonjit, only for his horse to be healed by Chopper. A tall man, revealed to be Marine Admiral Aokiji, appears, and Robin collapses in terror.

Luffy, Ace, and Smoker are all in the same town. Luffy, in a search for food, runs into Smoker who he immediately runs from. Smoker gives chase until Ace intervenes. Luffy finally recognizes his brother.
