After Luffy emerges victorious from the rubble of Arlong Park, he declares Nami his friend. The villagers celebrate Arlong’s defeat, but Nezumi and the Marines arrive to seize Arlong’s treasure. The Straw Hat Crew beats them, and Nami retrieves her money before giving Luffy his hat back. Nezumi then reports the Straw Hats to Marine Headquarters, and Nami and her family pay respects at Belle-mère’s grave.
